POLYFEAST 2015 YAY

It was a hot moring when the year 7&8s had to go to polyfeast.Guess what it was the 40th anversiry of polyfeast Manukau woaho.

First we had to sit on the damp grass and wait for the speacil guest to arrive guess who it was prime minister Jhon Key.When Jhon Key left everyone had to move along to their activites.

The activites that was the best for me is when we got to spend  time with our paerent helpers and tennis racket because we had to swing the bat as far as we can.

I Look toward going to polyfeast IF we can in 2016 when I am a Year 8,Because polyfeast was the best ever because we got to go in heaps of draws.

Empire Map

We have been reading about the Victorian Age. We found out that children used to learn which countries were part of the British Empire by looking on a map. All of the countries in the British Empire were red or pink. I have highlighted the countries in the British Empire during the Victorian Era in red or pink.

Creative Spring Writing

Today in class we have been doing creative writing. We had to write a sentence about this picture. As a class we chose the sentence we liked to best and then added to it. Here is my sentence and the sentence I added to.

On a  hot sunny beautiful  day i was sitting underneath the oak tree in spring.

Under the oak tree,kicked back by the beach from a view,chill going down your spine, the bright sun light  on you.I Feel myself relaxing underneath the oak tree.Ah its almost summer oh no.

Cross Country

Yesterday after lunch I was very nervous because at 1:00 pt england school had a cross crountry. I was in Takiitumu that is Yellow.We were all dressed up in our house colours.

Then it was time for the house captions to do their chant. After the house captions done their chant it was time for the races to began.It was almost our turn first went the yr 8 boys.Yay its our turn now.The Yr 6 Girls was at the starting line.Then Mr Burt,said on your mark get set go then we raced of.

I was nervous because I thought i’ll come last but i diddent i came 8th that was good.Cross Country was fun though.I love having Cross Country.But make sure you run everyday like My Class and 6&8.We were the fittest because we still eun even though cross country is over.

This  is a Game called Netball it was made in New Zealand  in Auckland.April made up this sport and it is called Netball on Ice.This came was made up in 2014 only this year.

The aim of the game is to work hard and be nice to you coach and make sure you have and empire and always make sure you have the ball and the other team doesen’t.

The Equiment you will need for this game is Ice skates a postion you will play and a Netball Coach that will turn up to practise with you before your game and a nice team.

The postions are Centre,Goal Attack,Goal Keep,Wing Attack,Wing Deffence,Goal Deffence and Last one is Goal Shoot and netball is the best sport so when you are playing Netball Make sure you are the best player ever and always make sure you have the ball and the other team dosen’t.

World War II

This Morning My Class and My Teacher Went to assembly to talk about the World War II and The World War I.It Was very sad because some of them died in The World War I.Mr Burts Grandad and Mrs Flavell Grandad went together In The World War 1. I felt sad that the people on the other team that killed nz that was so sad.
