Sleeping Advice Blog

Kia Ora,
In Room 1 for literacy with Mr Wiseman we have been learning about sleep, You should at least get about 9-11 hours of sleep if you dont get enough sleep you will be grumpy and bad words will come out of your mouth and that wont be good for. Here is some sleeping advice that I can give you. My friend gave me some questions to anwser and needed help with her sleep because he friends kept saying she was grumpy and I fingured out that her friends are saying that because she does not get enough sleep. 

How our muscles work

I am going to expalin how our muscels work and how much muscles, we have in our body, and what is our muscles job also why do we need muscles in our body, and what us our muscles job. Did you know a person has about 600 muscles in there body and they  are diffrent shapes and sizes and they have many jobs. Skeletal muscles can give you power and strength in you body.

The tidness you feel in your body is called muscle fatigue. We have muscles in our eyes to help us look around and if we did not have muscles we would not be able to look around.

Every human has about three types of muscles and they are called Smooth Muscles & Cardiac Muscles & also Skeletal Muscles.  What are the three types  muscles used for a smooth muscle is used for things  such as the stomach, intestine, blood vessels, and bladder.  A skeletal muscle is used for to facilitate movement, by applying force to bones and joints. A cardiac muscle is used for is in next to your heart in  a place called the heart wall.

A smooth muscles is used to move food through your deigestive track. In one's eye the pupillary sphincter muscles is responsible for shrinking the size of the pupil. A skeletal muscles is Skeletal muscle job is to move your body around and skeletal muscle contractions pull on tendons, which are attached to bones. A Cardiac muscle job is to keep the heart muscle is involuntary which means contracts without conscious control and found in walls of internal organs such as stomach and intestine and bladder and blood vessels excluding the heart smooth muscle.

BFG Movie

Last term  our literacy teacher Mr Wiseman read to us a Roald Dahl's book called the BFG. Yesterday our literacy class and some other children that have been working hard in there class, went to watch the recently realesed Movie BFG. 

I thought the movie was Scary at the Start and then got scary when the BFG took sophie from her window and then got scary because of the other mean giants names were ............ The Fleshlumpeate, The Manhugger , The Meatdripper, The Childchewe, The Butcher Boy,The Maidmasher,The Bonecruncher and The Gizzardgulper. But I felt sorry for Sophie because she lost her paerents when she was little and she lived in a orphanage with mean people and she did not like the orphanage because she dreamed about the boogy Man. Then when it got to the end I felt it funny because how they was drinking frobscottle and when they drank it they farted. 

The book was really boring because it did not have that much details and was not scary that much and in the book it did not say that there was a boy that had a red jacket and the little boy died and got eaten by the maidmasher. The movie was better because it was more intresting and It was scarier and That I thought the BFG was a ninja because how he was hiding alot from the other people. Then at the end Sophie got adopted my the Queen and then everyone was the BFG's friend and the all likd a drink called Frobscottle. Also the BFG was growing a garden at the Castle............

My favourite charcter was the BFG because  he was nicer than the other Giants and he was nice to sophie and cared about her and Sophie also cared about the BFG and says like why would you let them beat you up. So I really like the movie BFG and I will go and see it again. I hope we all really liked  the movie. If I was to rate the movie I will rate it a 10 and the book a 1.

Bubblegum Dance Crew visits Pt England 2016

This afternoon our school were very fortunate to have the Bubblegum Dance from the Palace perform for us. They are off to the World Hip Hop dance competition in Las Vegas. We wish them all the best and hope the win. Crowns Up!   Good Luck Bubblegum wish you all the best and practice really hard. LOL CROWNS UP

1st Time AT Tauranga

On the 2nd day of the holidays me and my family went down to Tauranga and it was my first time going there. It was so fun because I  got to see all my cousins that I have not seen in along time. 

We sore my Cousin Bruce and his Wife Nicole and there kids Desire and Natalie. They live in Taupo and I have not been to Taupo so I asked If I can go to there house and It was so cool there because we went to AC Baths.

Then We went back to Tauranga and we went to Ngatea.

During the ancient Olympic Games, Men's were allowed to participate In The Ancient Olympic Games But Girl's Were Not allowed. Do you think it is fair and why do you think that?

I think that was fair because Girls Could easily get hurt and the Men will get hurt but they will be strong and get over it and girls will not get over it and they will get upset.
